The Makita cordless rebar cutter kit is powered by a brushless motor that delivers 2200 RPM for faster spark-free cutting. It is perfect for cutting #8 rebar or 1 Inch threaded rod. Brushless motor is electronically controlled to minimize battery energy use up to 50% longer run time per charge. The ergonomically designed handle is provided with rubberized grip so that the user can work for long duration without any fatigue. Adjustable stopper holds the rebar at 90 degree offering more support while cutting. The 3-stage LED gauge indicator gives a clear picture about battery charge level. It is equipped with star protection computer controls that safeguards against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Wire mesh intake covers are designed to avoid debris from entering motor. Carbide-tipped blade provides clean burr-free cutting with minimal spark emission. Chip collector allows for capturing metal cut-offs for added convenience.
