The Makita cordless threaded rod cutter is powered by a brushless motor that is perfect for overhead cutting of installed threaded rod. It has capacity to cut up to 1300 cuts of 3/8 Inch mild steel threaded rod and 1200 cuts of 3/8 Inch stainless steel. Brushless motor is electronically controlled to minimize battery energy use up to 50% longer run time per charge. The ergonomically designed handle is provided with rubberized grip so that the user can work for long duration without any fatigue. It is equipped with star protection computer controls that safeguards against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. It offers spark-free cuts that are clean and burr-free for easy handling. Automatic blade stop mechanism returns blade to initial position once cut is complete. On-board hex wrench storage ensures fast and convenient blade changes. Built-in LED light allows working with ease in low light conditions. It includes 3/8 Inch cutter blade set, 1/4 Inch cutter blade set, depth gauge, blade cover and Hex wrench.
