The IRWIN® SPEEDBOR® 3/4-Inch x 6-Inch Standard Length Spade Bit rapidly cuts accurate and clean holes in wood surfaces. It features patented Blue-Groove™ technology that speeds up chip removal and drilling speed, so you can complete any drilling job quickly. The Irwin flat drill bit also has cutting spurs on each outside edge that scribes the hole as you work, reducing surface damage and producing cleaner bore holes. This bit’s cutting edge is 40 percent thicker, and its shank is 25 percent larger than typical bits, which gives it exceptional strength and durability. The Irwin flat wood drill bit has a 6-inch shaft with a grooved 1/4-inch hex shank that provides a sure connection for standard chucks or quick-change adapters.
